Greetings,

This message is to share the status of Fiscal Years 2024 and 2025, Phases 42 and 43 of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP). The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) awarded the program $117 million dollars for each of the grants. Awards have been made to qualifying jurisdictions (counties and cities) and State Set-Aside (SSA) Committees across the country and may now be viewed on the EFSP website, www.efsp.unitedway.org, under FY2021/ARPAR/2022/2023/2024/2025, select the phase you wish to view, Phase 42 (FY2024) Allocations or Phase 43 (FY2025) Allocations.

Required EFSP National Board processes and updating of materials continue and must be completed prior to making Local Board Plans available via the EFSP website. Once all processes have been completed and EFSP National Board staff have finished updating materials, official award announcements will be sent to each qualifying Local Board and SSA Committee. The spending period for all funded jurisdictions will be the same. The spending period will be determined and shared with award announcements.
